Kerry announces that at an extraordinary general meeting of the company held
in Tralee today, shareholders approved the proposed acquisition of Golden Vale
plc.


The Offer, which is unconditional as to acceptances, is now awaiting the
approval of the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment of Ireland and
the Office of Fair Trading in the United Kingdom.
