                  LINCAT GROUP PLC ("Lincat" or the "Company")



         Dividend policy following change to accounting reference date



On 4 May 2007, Lincat Group plc announced a change to its Accounting Reference
Date from 30 June to 31 December, to bring the Company into line with the
trading periods of the majority of its customers and suppliers.


Following that change, the Company wishes to announce when dividends will be
paid during the transition to this new accounting period.


In lieu of the final dividend that would have been payable in November 2007 in
respect of the financial year to 30 June 2007, Lincat now intends to pay a
second interim dividend in October 2007. A final dividend in respect of the
eighteen month financial period from 1 July 2006 to 31 December 2007 will be
paid in May 2008, subject to shareholder approval at the Company's AGM to be
held earlier that month.


For the 2008 financial year and thereafter, Lincat intends to pay an interim
dividend each October and a final dividend each May.
