Lincat Group plc (the "Company")

The  Company  was informed on 18 December  1997  that  JR
Craddock,  a non-executive director of the Company,  sold
190,000  ordinary shares of 10p each ("Ordinary  Shares")
in  the  Company at 320p per Ordinary Share on 9 December
1997.   Following  the  disposal,  JR  Craddock  has   an
interest in 1,000,532 Ordinary Shares representing  10.51
per cent. of the issued share capital.
