                   Total Voting Rights and Additional Listing

In conformity with the Transparency Directive's transitional provision 6, the
Company would like to notify the market of the following:

As at the date of this announcement the Company's issued share capital consists
of 229,508,582 ordinary shares with voting rights.  The Company does not hold
any shares in Treasury.  Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the
Company is 229,508,582.

The above figure (229,508,582) may be used by shareholders as the denominator
for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify
their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FSA's
Disclosure and Transparency Rules.

The above figure of 229,508,582 is inclusive of the following changes in the
Company's share capital today:

1,000,000 options, issued in March 2003 at an exercise price of 5p per share,
have today been exercised resulting in the issue of 1,000,000 ordinary 5p shares
and net proceeds to the Company of #50,000. In addition, 29,333 warrants
attached to the Convertible Loan Notes issued in 2003 have been exercised,
resulting in the issue of 586,660 ordinary 5p shares and net proceeds to the
Company of #29,333. Application has been made to admit the 1,586,660 new
ordinary shares to trading on AIM and admission is expected on 2 February 2007.

Following the exercise of the options and warrants, the Company has outstanding
9.7 million options exercisable at 5p a share expiring in March 2008 and 2.3
million warrants exercisable at 5p a share expiring in March 2008.
