                Lombard Medical Technologies PLC (the "Company")

                  Application for admission of ordinary shares

Didcot, UK, 15 February 2006: The Company has made an application for the
admission to trading on AIM of 461,979 ordinary shares (representing 0.94 per
cent of the Company's current issued share capital). These shares are being
issued following the exercise of options by Mr John Kerslake and Mr Antony
Canning.

The shares to be admitted to AIM rank pari passu in all respects with the
existing ordinary shares. It is expected that dealings in these ordinary shares
will commence at 8 am on 21 February 2006.
