Medical device company Lombard Medical Technologies PLC (LMT.LN) said Thursday it terminated a distribution deal with Medtronic Inc. (MDT) for one of its products.

Lombard said it agreed with Medtronic to terminate their license, distribution and credit agreement which started Dec. 2006 for Lombard's EndoRefix endovascular stapling device.

The move follows a decision to stop a trial of the device in December to cut costs.

Lombard is now seeking a new marketing partner.
