                            Result of General Meeting 
 
On 10 September 2010, the Company announced a proposed disposal of Betshop Group 
(Europe) Limited to Grupo Pefaco SL ("Pefaco") on the terms set out in the 
Company's circular to shareholders dated 10 September 2010.  Since then, the 
Company has still not concluded definitive terms with Pefaco and thus the 
Resolutions to be put to today's adjourned General Meeting are redundant. 
 
Accordingly the Resolutions were not put to shareholders and were withdrawn. 
 
The Directors are still in talks with Pefaco and are exploring approaches from a 
number of other parties who have expressed an interest to acquire the Betshop 
business since the expiry of the exclusivity period with Pefaco. Further 
resolutions will need to be put to shareholders if an alternative buyer emerges. 
The Company confirms that it is only in discussions regarding the sale of its 
trading subsidiary, Betshop Group (Europe) Limited, and is not seeking or 
expecting any offers for Leisure and Gaming plc.
