The technology vendors participating in the Serial Storage
Experience will showcase their respective products, services and
solutions at HP World 2004, as below: Adaptec Adaptec will showcase
an Adaptec Serial Attached SCSI external storage array, the
industry's first SAS JBOD, and an Adaptec Serial Attached SCSI
controller, the first member of Adaptec's family of Serial Attached
SCSI cards and a controller powered by an 8-port Adaptec SAS ASIC
that delivers industry-leading performance and storage
configuration flexibility. For more information on Adaptec's serial
storage products, please visit http://www.adaptec.com/. Fujitsu
Computer Products of America Fujitsu has established its place as a
leader in the emerging serial technology market with its delivery
of the MHT2080BH, the industry's only 2.5" Serial-ATA (SATA) mobile
hard disk drive as well as its MAV series hard drive, the
industry's first 2.5" Serial-Attached SCSI (SAS) 10K enterprise
hard disk drive. The adaptability of the Serial interface
exponentially increases the options available to system integrators
and solution providers by allowing systems to use the hard disk
drives interchangeably as needed to accomplish specifications
goals. For additional information, visit:
