                           MEM PLC BOARD CHANGE



Medal Entertainment & Media plc ("MEM" or the "Company") announces that Michael
Mercieca, its Chief Financial Officer and a director of the Company, has today
left MEM to return to work on other projects via his own consultancy company.



The board of directors is pleased to announce that it has today appointed
Mariana Spater as Chief Financial Officer and a director of the Company with
immediate effect.  Ms Spater, aged 46, is a chartered accountant who joined
MEM's wholly owned subsidiary Fountain Television in 1993. From 1986 until 1993,
she was finance director and a founder shareholder of KMS Advertising plc where
she was involved in various fundraisings and acquisitions prior to its sale to a
public listed company.  Between 1983 and 1985, Ms Spater was initially group
chief accountant of McDonalds Corporation's property company before she was
appointed group accountant of McDonalds' UK operations.



Ms Spater is currently a director of Fountain Television Limited, Fountain
Television (Properties) Limited and Fountain Group Limited all of which are MEM
group companies.  In addition, in the past five years she has been a director of
Media Natura Limited and Media Natura (Trust) Limited.  No further information
is required to be disclosed pursuant to Schedule 2(f) of the AIM Rules of the
London Stock Exchange.



The board of directors also announces that results for the year ended 31 March
2003 will be released by the end of June 2003 and are expected to be in-line
with market expectations.
