                           Exercise of Share Options

Maxima has issued 250,000 ordinary 1p shares pursuant to the exercise of share
options at 110p by Geoff Bicknell, former Finance Director of the Company.
Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the new ordinary
shares to be admitted to trading on AIM. Dealing is expected to commence in
these shares on 12 January 2007.
