Transfer of Treasury Shares. 
 
 
 
The Company announces that on 4 April 2011, 10,708,811 ordinary shares of 25p 
each held as treasury shares were transferred to the Company's Employee Share 
Ownership Trust (the "ESOT") for nil consideration. 
 
Shares in the Company held by the ESOT are used to satisfy awards made to 
participants in the employees' share schemes operated by the Company. 
 
Following the above transfer, the Company now holds 34,753,150 ordinary shares 
in treasury and has 479,371,321 ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held 
as treasury shares).
