The Board of NXT plc ("NXT" or the "Company"), a provider of unique sound 
solutions, best known for its flat panel loudspeaker technology, today announces 
that they are resolving to appoint James Lewis (47) today with effect from 1 
October 2009 as Non-executive Director to further strengthen the Board. 
 
 
James Lewis founded Oxford Semiconductor in 1992 and grew it into a $40 million 
global business supplying complex semiconductor devices for computer peripherals 
and consumer electronics. 
 
 
Ian Buckley, Chairman, commented: "I am delighted that James is joining us on 
the Board. His international experience as a successful technology entrepreneur 
shall be particularly valuable to us as we continue to exploit our touch and 
audio technologies worldwide". 
 
 
There are no further disclosures required in respect of Mr Lewis pursuant to 
Rule 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules of the Financial Services Authority.
