Q1 Scientific Educational Programme Webinar and Industry Event

-- Company's next educational webinar on food sensitivity to take place later this month
-- CNS to exhibit at prominent gut health event in Birmingham in March

CNS (AIM: CNSL), the specialist medical diagnostics company focused on promoting a personalised and functional approach to health and nutrition, announces two events happening in Q1 2024. The first is a proprietary CNSLab webinar "Food Sensitivity in Clinical Practice", and the second is CNS's attendance at the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine ('BANT') Gut Health and Functional Testing event.

The webinar forms part of the Company's ongoing Scientific Education Programme, a key initiative which enables CNS to collaborate with a number of global and UK-based key opinion leaders in the nutritional science field. The BANT event, which typically attracts 225 to 550 attendees, will provide CNS with the opportunity to foster even closer relationships with nutritional practitioners and healthcare professionals.

CNS Educational Webinar: "Food Sensitivity in Clinical Practice"

This Continual Professional Development ('CPD') accredited webinar is exclusively for healthcare professionals and will explore the important terminology that distinguishes IgE food allergy from IgG food sensitivity and food intolerances. It takes place on Tuesday 30 January at 11am GMT and will be hosted by guest speaker and BANT member Kirsty Baxter, a CNHC Registered Nutritional Therapist with nearly eight years of clinical practice who holds a Masters in Advanced Nutrition. Kirsty completed training in Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice ('IFM') and is a published researcher. Her specialisms include metabolic conditions: including diabetes, insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome, PCOS and weight loss and she works extensively with Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Food Sensitivities Testing.

BANT "Gut Health and Functional Testing "

CNS will exhibit at the event which is taking place at The University of Birmingham, UK, on 1-2 March. BANT is the leading professional body for Registered Nutritional Therapy Practitioners in one-to-one clinical practice and a self-regulator for BANT Registered Nutritionists(R). The two-day event on nutrition and lifestyle medicine approaches is focused on gut health, with extensive coverage of the current availability and value of functional testing. Across the two days, speakers will cover the latest research around gut dysbiosis - symptoms, causes, assessments, and interventions including dietary, lifestyle and nutraceuticals. As a sponsor, CNS will also take part in a Facebook Live event within a four-week period after the conclusion of the event; this will be available to BANT members.

Commenting, Jag Grewal, Chief Executive Officer, said:

"We are delighted to be delivering our next educational webinar in January. CNS remains committed to delivering a comprehensive scientific education programme to help build awareness and promote knowledge sharing among healthcare practitioners. It remains a key initiative that enables the Company to collaborate with a number of global and UK-based key opinion leaders in the nutritional science field.

"We are also excited to participate in and sponsor the BANT gut health and functional testing event. Not only is the topic hugely pertinent for CNS, the reach BANT has through its broad member network allows CNS to build relationships and engage with relevant practitioners - a vital component of the Company's approach."
