Restructuring involving 

Recommended Cash Offer for

Oriflame International S.A. ("Oriflame")

EXTENSION OF THE OFFER

Oriflame Trading Limited announces that by 4:00 p.m. London time on 4 October
1999 it had received valid acceptances of the Offer from Minority Shareholders
(i.e., shareholders other than the af Jochnick Family Shareholders) in respect
of 23,724,034 Oriflame Shares representing 23.9% of the Existing issued share
capital of Oriflame.  In order for the Offer to be declared unconditional as
to acceptances, it is necessary for Minority Shareholders to accept the Offer
in respect of at least 31,852,633 Oriflame Shares.  Accordingly, acceptances
are required from Minority Shareholders in respect of a further 8,128,599
Oriflame Shares representing 8.2% of the Existing issued share capital of
Oriflame.

The Family Shareholders have already accepted the Offer in respect of a
minimum of 32,103,090 Oriflame Shares, representing 32.35% of the Existing
issued share capital.  As described in the Offer document, this number may be
increased so as to ensure that the  number of shares held by the Family
Shareholders is equal to the number of shares held by Industri Kapital 1997
Limited following the Restructuring of Oriflame.

The Offer has been extended to 3:00 p.m. London time on 12 October 1999.

Definitions used in the Offer Circular dated 7 September 1999 have the same
meanings when used in this announcement, unless the context requires
otherwise.
