ORIEL RESOURCES PLC ("the Company")



Corporate Reorganisation



Following the successful listing on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the
continuing progress and development of the Company's Shevchenko nickel and
Voskhod chrome projects, the Company wishes to announce a strategic
reorganisation of the Board of Directors.


- Dr Sergey V Kurzin has been appointed Executive Chairman

- Dr Nic A Barcza has been appointed Managing Director.

- Mr Nick R Clarke has been appointed Director of Mining.

- Mr David J Swan has been appointed Finance Director and Company Secretary.

- Mr Roger T Richer and Mr John D Reynolds have been appointed as additional
  non-executive directors.



As previously announced, Oriel Resources plc listed on the Toronto Stock
Exchange (TSX) on Friday 25 February 2005 and today the Board has appointed two
new non-executive Directors.  They are Mr Roger T Richer and Mr John D Reynolds
who are both Canadian citizens.



Mr Roger T Richer, 52, holds Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Law degrees from
the University of Victoria and was admitted to the Bar of British Columbia in
1985 and has been a Barrister and Solicitor in British Columbia, Canada since
that date. In 1987 he joined Bema Gold as General Counsel, Secretary and Vice
President of Administration.  He was made a Director of Bema Gold in 2000. In
addition, he serves as President and Director of a number of affiliated
companies including Arizona Star Resource Corp, Consolidated Puma Minerals,
Victoria Resource Corp and Consolidated Westview Resources Inc.



Mr John D Reynolds, 63, has served as the Canadian Member of Parliament for West
Vancouver-Sunshine Coast since June 1997. Since his election, he has served in
the "shadow cabinet" of the Official Opposition as the Critic for Citizenship
and Immigration, as the Chief Opposition Critic for Fisheries and Oceans, and
later as the Justice Critic and Chief Opposition Whip. Prior to his election in
1997, Mr. Reynolds was a member of the federal Progressive Conservative Party
caucus, worked in the private sector, and served as Speaker of the Legislative
Assembly and as Minister of Environment for British Columbia.



In addition Mr David J Swan, 49, who has acted as CFO and Company Secretary for
the past 10 months has been appointed as Finance Director and Company Secretary.



Mr Stephen R Dattels has stepped down as Managing Director and as a director of
the Company in order to spend more time with his family and pursue his private
business interests.  Executive Chairman Dr Sergey V Kurzin acknowledged Mr
Dattels' contribution to the development of the Company to see it emerge as a
#95.0m market capitalised listed company.



Certain directors to have their roles re-defined by the new Board include Dr Nic
Barcza, a director since October 2004, who has been appointed as Managing
Director.  Mr Nick R Clarke who was previously Chief Operating Officer has been
appointed as Director of Mining.  And Dr Sergey V Kurzin has been appointed as
Executive Chairman.



Commenting on the board changes, Dr Sergey V Kurzin said: "This new Board
structure reflects the direction in which Oriel is progressing.  Dr Nic Barcza
has assumed the role of Managing Director and he brings some 25 years experience
to this position, specifically in the area of ferroalloy smelting and
processing.  He will be of prime importance to the development of our Shevchenko
nickel, and the recently acquired Voskhod chrome projects.  I welcome our new
appointments to the Board each of whom will add value to an already strong team.
I would also like to express the Board's thanks to Stephen Dattels, who has
been so important in the creation and development of the business".



Each of Mr Roger T Richer and Mr John D Reynolds will be issued 500,000 options
under the Company's Unapproved Share Option Plan ("the Plan") at an exercise
price determined in accordance with the Rules of the Plan.

in the past 5 years.



(ii) - (viii) There is no further information to be disclosed in relation to
paragraph (f) of Schedule Two of the AIM rules in connection with the Director
appointments.
