Appointment and Resignation of Non-Executive Director 
The Board of Octopus Titan VCT 4 plc is pleased to announce the appointment of 
Alex Macpherson as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 12 
December 2011.  He is to replace Chris Hulatt who resigned on the same day. 
Chris was one of the three Founders of the Company's Investment Manager, Octopus 
Investments Limited, and remains Chief Financial Officer there. 
Alex Macpherson heads up the Ventures Team at Octopus Investments Limited and 
has a wealth of experience in identifying, assessing and nurturing talented 
young businesses. He specialises in identifying emerging businesses and has 
responsibility for evaluating the potential of companies for investment. 
 
Gregor  Michie, Chairman of Octopus Titan VCT 4 plc commented: "We are delighted 
to welcome Alex to the Board.  His experience will enhance the Board and we look 
forward to working with him". 
Alex started his career with SG Warburg before co-founding Katalyst Ventures 
which he led before its sale to Octopus in 2007.
