Pannal Plc (the "Company") - Suspension announcement



Monday 3 April 2006



Pannal Plc announces that trading in its shares were today suspended in
accordance with the rules of the Alternative Investment Market of the London
Stock Exchange (the "Rules") as it has not yet made a reverse acquisition or
substantially implemented its investing strategy. As the Company is an investing
company with less than #3 million to invest it was required to have done this by
1 April 2006.



The Company continues to look at potential investment opportunities and hopes to
be able to make an announcement to its shareholders shortly with an update.



Under the Rules the Company now has 6 months to implement a reverse acquisition
or its investment strategy, failing which the trading of its shares will be
cancelled.
