PSolve Niche Opportunities Fund - Investment in MotherRock Energy Fund Limited

PSolve Niche Opportunities Fund is a cell of PSolve Alternatives PCC Limited
(the "Company").



On 3 August 2006 MotherRock Energy Fund Limited ("MotherRock") announced that it
had incurred substantial trading losses during June and July and was, as a
consequence, being wound up.  As at 31 July 2006, the Company's investment in
MotherRock represented 1.51 per cent. of the Company's net asset value after
taking into account reported trading losses in June and July.  Whilst the final
effect on the value of the Company's Investment in MotherRock is not yet
quantifiable, PSolve Alternative Investments, the Company's Investment Manager,
has determined that the reported valuation of MotherRock as at 31 July 2006
should be written down by 50 per cent. for the purposes of calculating the
Company's net asset value as at 31 August 2006.  As and when additional
information becomes available to the Company that valuation may be further
revised, and such revisions (if any) will be reflected in future net asset value
announcements to be made by the Company.
