                              Quarterly Dividend

Premier Utilities Trust PLC announces that the fifth quarterly dividend, of
2.25p per Ordinary share, which is in line with the expected level set out in
the Company's prospectus published on 29 September 2003, will be paid on 31
March 2005 to members on the register at the close of business on 25 February
2005. The Ordinary shares will be marked ex-dividend on 23 February 2005.
