         Applications received for #24m for new venture capital trust

The Directors are pleased to report that applications have been received for #
24m of shares in Quester VCT4, the new venture capital trust since the fund
was on 1st November. The fund is limited to #53 million.

The Quester investment strategy is to put special emphasis upon software,
internet enabling technology businesses, telecoms services and equipment,
semiconductors, optical networking, new media, healthcare, life sciences and
new materials.
