Membership of Global Sustainability Initiative

Blancco becomes member of the United Nations Global Compact

Blancco Technology Group PLC (AIM: BLTG, "Blancco", the "Company" or the "Group"), the industry standard in data erasure and mobile lifecycle solutions, is pleased to announce its membership of the United Nations Global Compact, a voluntary leadership platform for the development, implementation, and disclosure of responsible business practices.

Launched in 2000, the UN Global Compact is the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world, with more than 12,000 companies and 3,500 non-business signatories based in over 160 countries, and 69 Local Networks. The UN Global Compact is a call to companies everywhere to align their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment, and anti-corruption, and to take action in support of UN goals and issues embodied in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

By providing data erasure software that enables recycling and reuse of devices and negates the need for landfill, promoting responsible business practices and offering sustainable solutions is central to Blancco's business strategy. Aligning with the Global Compact serves to strengthen Blancco's ESG strategy, management and reporting. The Group will continue both to report its progress against the SDGs, as well as to promote the values of and develop in accordance with the Ten Principles.
