Real Estate Investors Plc (AIM:RLE),
the UK's only Midlands-focused Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT),
with a portfolio of commercial property across all
sectors, announces that further to the announcement on 9 May
2024 of the vesting of share awards to Paul Bassi (Chief Executive)
in respect of 264,264 ordinary shares of 10p each ("Ordinary
Shares") and Marcus Daly (Finance Director) in respect of 165,165
Ordinary Shares, on 9 May 2024, these directors exercised their
right to acquire such Ordinary Shares for nil
consideration.
These Ordinary Shares, together with
a further 108,108 Ordinary Shares in relation to share awards to
other employees, have been issued and allotted by the Company.
Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for
the admission of 537,537 new Ordinary Shares to trading on AIM
("Admission"). Admission is expected to occur on or around
8.00 a.m. on 16 May 2024.
Following Admission, the Company's
issued share capital will comprise 174,381,971 Ordinary Shares with
26 Ordinary Shares held in treasury. Therefore the total number of
voting rights in the Company is 174,381,945. This figure may
be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the
calculation by which they will determine if they are required to
notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the
share capital of the Company under the Financial Conduct
Authority's Disclosure, Guidance and Transparency
Rules.
Following Admission, Paul Bassi will
be interested in 16,892,835 Ordinary Shares (representing 9.69% of
the Company's issued ordinary share capital) and Marcus Daly will
be interested in 4,071,509 Ordinary Shares (representing 2.33% of
the Company's issued ordinary share capital).

accordance with the requirements of the UK Market Abuse Regulation,
