announcement released 17 August 2000 at 17:23 under RNS No 6491P.


RMR Plc ("the Company") - correction

The Company made an announcement earlier today which stated that Mr David
Jones had sold ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 10 pence each. 
The disposal price per share quoted in that announcement was incorrect.

The announcement should have read:

The Company was notified today that David Jones disposed of 1,000,000 ordinary
shares of 10 pence each in RMR plc on 4 August.  Mr Jones continues to retain
an interest in 4,670,631 ordinary shares representing 8.47% of the issued
share capital of the Company.
