RMR plc - Appointment of Executive Director

RMR plc ("the Company") is pleased to announce that Robert Jackson has been
appointed as an executive director with effect from 16 November 2000. Mr
Jackson previously held the position of Director, Corporate Finance, at Old
Mutual Securities, the Company's nominated broker. Old Mutual Securities has
indicated that it intends to step aside as the Company's nominated broker once
a suitable replacement has been found.
