SPORTSCARD WINS ACCESS TO 1.5 MILLION
DAILY TELEGRAPH AND SUNDAY TELEGRAPH READERS
* Sportscard to partner with The Telegraph Group to
produce co-branded rewards-based credit card
* Opportunity to market Sportscard to Telegraph
readership - an estimated database of 1.5 million
* Sportscard to be the primary sponsor of The
Telegraph Fantasy Cricket and Football Leagues
* Increased exposure of brand through advertising
agreement with The Telegraph Group
Sportscard Group plc ("the Company" or "Sportscard"), the
rewards-based credit card company, announces that it has
entered an exclusive agreement to market a co-branded
rewards-based credit cards with The Telegraph Group. As
part of the agreement Sportscard will be the exclusive
sponsor of The Telegraph's Fantasy Cricket and Football
Leagues.
The Company will produce for Telegraph readers a
specially co-branded Sportscard credit card, on which
cardholders earn Sports Points from every purchase or
balance transfer made. As part of the agreement
Sportscard will have the opportunity to market the co-
branded card to the Telegraph's database of 1.5 million.
Cardholders will be able to exchange their Points for
Sportscard's many sports related benefits, such as 'hard
to find' tickets to the Wimbledon tennis championship,
Six Nations rugby at Twickenham and Millennium Stadium,
cricket at Lords or Premier League football games.
Alternatively readers will be able to cash in their
points to pay their Telegraph subscription. The two
companies will work together in the future to provide
Telegraph readers with additional rewards based benefits.
As part of the agreement, Sportscard will be exclusive
sponsors of The Telegraph's Fantasy Cricket and Football
League. As well as direct marketing of the co-branded
credit card to all those who register for the Fantasy
Leagues, Sportscard will receive high level brand
exposure through advertising for the Fantasy leagues, in
both the Daily and Sunday editions of the Telegraph and
at 3,000 tied newsagents around the country. The Company
will also be placing two million advertising inserts
across the Telegraph magazines.

* Sportscard Group plc, the rewards-based credit card
company, listed on the Alternative Investment Market
(AIM) on 9 October 2000.
* The Sportscard credit card is targeted at sports
enthusiasts whom the Company aims to attract by
offering a range of sporting rewards and benefits.
* The Company currently has approximately 11,500 holders
of Sportscards. Future marketing initiatives are
planned by the Company with the objective of
increasing the Sportscard cardholder base to 500,000
active cardholders over the next five years.
* In addition to hard to come by tickets, "Sports
Points" can also be put towards part or full payment
for club membership fees, sports tuition or sports
merchandise.
* Activity for the Telegraph Fantasy Cricket will
commence at the beginning of April and run until late
September. Exposure will include application and
results pages, columns and filter ads. A "Managers
Pack" sent out to all applicants will also offer
exclusive advertising within the 36-page colour
magazine.
* Activity for the Telegraph Fantasy Football will
commence in July and run for 40 weeks. This will also
involve direct mailing (to the 500,000 database
expected to sign up for the League), regular adverts
and a managers pack and will be supported by a TV
advertising package with logo inclusion.
* Sportscards are available to UK residents aged 18 or
over and are subject to status. Written quotations are
available on request. Sportscards are issued by
