                             Director Shareholding


Straight plc announces that Jonathan Straight, the Company's Chief Executive,
yesterday sold 200,000 shares for 275p each representing 1.77% of the Company's
issued share capital.  There are no further share disposals anticipated.
Panmure Gordon released Jonathan from his lock-in arrangements for the purpose
of this transaction.  Following this disposal, Jonathan's shareholding
represented 39.9% of the issued share capital.
