Completion of Refinancing 
 
 
Thorntons PLC ("Thorntons") is pleased to announce that it has agreed and signed 
a new revolving credit facility of GBP52.5 million, shared between three banks. 
This facility is committed for three years and runs until August 2012. 
 
Thorntons will announce its preliminary results on 9 September 2009.
