Application has been made to the London Stock 
Exchange for the admission of a total of 838,427 
Ordinary shares of 10p each fully paid, ranking 
pari passu with the existing Ordinary shares, to 
the Official List.

488,427 shares are issued to satisfy share 
options exercised under the Thorntons Executive 
Share Option Scheme.

The remaining 350,000 shares will be available 
under a block listing pursuant to the Companys 
Sharesave scheme.
