                                 Trading Update



The Local Radio Company Plc ('TLRC') today announces a trading update ahead of
its full year results expected to be released in early December.



We are very encouraged that trading has continued to improve in the second half
of this financial year.  Our like for like revenue is expected to have increased
by 7.5% over the same period last year in market conditions that have continued
to be difficult.



Our financial performance is in line with our expectations and we are pleased
that the business has now been modestly EBITDA positive since May.



We have continued our strong run of audience growth across our stations,  with
most recent results from RAJAR Q2 reaching a total audience of 920,000 weekly
listeners listening for 7.7 million hours, representing annual increases of 5%
and 6% respectively.



We are confident that the excellent progress made by the Company in the second
half of this financial year will continue.
