Total Produce receives regulatory clearance for Dutch
acquisition
Total Produce plc, Europe's leading fresh produce company,
announced on 20 December 2011 that it had entered an agreement to
acquire 50% of Frankort & Koning Beheer Venlo B.V. ("Frankort
& Koning") and subsidiaries for up to EUR15 million subject to,
inter alia, regulatory approval. Headquartered in Venlo, the
Netherlands, Frankort & Koning is a highly respected fresh
produce company with operations principally in the Netherlands,
Germany and Poland.
Total Produce is now pleased to announce that it has received
regulatory clearance for its investment in Frankort & Koning
and the transaction is expected to complete in due course.
