                     Extraordinary General Meeting Results


Urals Energy Public Company Limited is pleased to announce that all of the
resolutions proposed at the Company's Extraordinary General Meeting held earlier
today were duly approved by shareholders, including the issuance of warrants to
BNP Paribas, as announced on 21 December 2005, approval for the Company to
increase its authorized share capital and the authority to issue shares on a non
pre-emptive basis in certain circumstances.
