                           VEGA wins Euro7m ESA contract

VEGA Group PLC ("VEGA"), the independent Programme and System Assurance Company,
has signed a three-year contract worth approximately Euro2.3m per year to provide
science and engineering support to ESA's Directorate of Science Programmes (D/
SCI) based at the European Space Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC) in the
Netherlands and also at the European Space Astronomy Centre (ESAC) in Spain.

Under the terms of the contract, where work commenced in April 2006, VEGA will
provide engineering and scientific support in the areas of System and Software
Engineering and Operations Support.

VEGA's work will focus on both existing and new missions in the areas of
astronomy, solar physics and planetary exploration. A wide range of missions and
areas are covered including XMM, Gaia, Mars Express and Venus Express.

The contract win helps to underpin the Group's existing expectations for the
current and future financial years.
