Working with Accenture on the NHS Information Systems Contract
VEGA is pleased to announce that it has been named as part of the successful
Accenture team that will design, build and manage NHS information systems to
support patient centric healthcare in North East England, including Yorkshire
and Humberside.
The #1099 Million, ten-year contract to become the North East Local Service
Provider ("LSP") was awarded by the Department of Health to Accenture, who
announced the agreement on Monday 8th December.
As part of the team, VEGA's support will focus on providing health informatics
consulting and training services.
Commenting on the announcement, Phil Cartmell, CEO of VEGA Group said:
