Vocalis Group PLC ("Vocalis" or the "Company")

The Company has today been informed that on 29 August 2000 Mr Minesh Patel, a
director of the Company, sold a total of 100,000 ordinary shares in the
Company at a price of 245p per share.  Following this transaction, Mr Patel is
interested in a total of 755,778 ordinary shares representing 1.7 per cent of
the Company's issued ordinary share capital.
