The Board of Thomas Walker PLC (the "Company") announces that Countrywide Homes
(Mercia) Limited ("Countrywide") failed to complete the contract for the
purchase of the Company's St Paul's Square property on 18 December 2003, as
required by the sale and purchase agreement dated 16 May 2002 between
Countrywide and the Company.



The Board, having taken legal advice, is now taking steps to enforce the terms
of the sale and purchase agreement.  A further announcement will be made in due
course.
