Speedy Hire contract win
Xploite plc ("Xploite", "the Group", AIM: XPT), the operator and aggregator of strategic and high growth IT services businesses,
announces that Anix, the Group's managed service and storage subsidiary, has secured an extension to the managed services contract it has
with equipment hire specialist Speedy Hire ("Speedy") worth up to 2.55m.
The contract, for a minimum of 18 months, includes the monitoring and management of the infrastructure that runs Speedy's crucial
business applications including ERP, Business Intelligence and corporate email together with the connectivity, via Citrix, of their 550 UK
outlets to their Head Office.
This win builds on the excellent relationship existing between Speedy Hire and Anix, founded on over two years of IT service
management.
Ian Smith, Xploite Chief Executive commented,
"This is another excellent win for Anix's managed services business. The fact that we are managing systems that are at the very heart
of our clients' businesses, clearly demonstrates the level of trust they have in us.
"As the credit crunch bites deeper, we expect more clients to embrace managed services, due to the compelling economic benefits of
replacing capital expenditure with more predictable operating expenses."
Anix currently services approximately 220 customers across two network operating centres in Bristol and Manchester and expects to build
out these operations as the customer base grows.
