PR Newswire (US)
MONTREAL, Oct. 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Dectron Internationale
Inc. (NASDAQ: DECT; TSX: DTL) announces that, in cooperation with
Engineering Resources Limited of Britain, it has entered into an
agreement to supply Riau Andalan Kertas (Riaupaper) of Indonesia
Air Purification and Gas Phase Filtration systems and to provide
related services. The estimated value of the agreement is $2
million and the system is expected to be completed and ready for
start-up by April 2006. The related services under the agreement
shall extend for a period of three years from start-up. The
agreement covers all of the environmental control systems for the
electrical, control and rack rooms for the Riau Andalan Kertas
Single Line Pulp and Paper Mill in Indonesia. The central control
room is the heart of the operations of the pulp and paper mill and
is generally exposed to high levels of corrosive gases, often the
by-product of the production process. Commenting on the project,
Mr. Nick Agopian, Dectron's Vice-President of International Sales,
stated: "These electronic control systems are very susceptible to
the corrosive gases typically found in pulp and paper mills.
Therefore, proper conditioning, as well as close temperature and
humidity control is required inside these rooms to assure proper
operation of the plant. The slightest malfunction of a single
control board can cause a shutdown in any section of the mill,
which can ultimately lead to a general shutdown of the entire mill.
Our Indoor Air Security(TM) environmental control systems represent
the life support for such sensitive electric and electronic
equipment." About Dectron Internationale Inc. Dectron
