FORMJET LAUNCHES NEW PRODUCT RANGE
Formjet, the AIM listed alternative software vendor, announces today the launch
of a new suite of software solutions, designed specifically to address the needs
of SME's and home PC users, and which will provide further revenue streams for
the Company.
Formjet's latest offering, branded under the name 'Essentials', is the most
recent addition to the extensive 'Ability Office' range of products, which the
Company holds worldwide distribution rights to sell, market and support
solutions through.
HIGHLIGHTS
*Initial "Essentials" range comprises Inksaver, SMS Text Manager and Turbo
Backup;
*Further revenue stream created for the Company;
*Growing synergies with the rest of the company and widening of current and
potential client base;
*Further enhancement of the Company's profile within the key PC health
sector; and
*Ability Software is planning to add further products to the Essentials range
over the next few months.
The niche 'Essentials' range comprises:
*Inksaver, an intelligent software compatible with all
printers and innovatively designed to reduce printer inkconsumption by up
to 75%; for users printing approximately 50 pages per week, InkSaver could
save them over #150 a year.
*SMS Text Manager, a leading edge solution enabling
the user to send, receive, and manage text messages from a PC; and includes
free message credits; additional credits are available at very competitive
prices; messages are created within a familiar, intuitive interface and
replies appear on the screen just like emails; remote broadcasting is also
possible - users can send a message to SMS Text Manager from their own
mobile phone for forwarding to specified distribution groups.
*TurboBackup focuses exclusively on backup of valuable data, critical system
files and configuration settings on all Windows platforms. It overcomes the
limitations encountered on traditional backup solutions, such as the need
for full imaging, or back-up to disk or tape. All are time-consuming,
storage-demanding, and often destructive. Customers can backup on demand or
setup scheduling backup of selected data and systems easily and quickly.
TurboBackup, currently being used by over 2 million PC owners.
Commenting on today's launch, Lyndon Chapman, Chief Executive of Formjet, said:

Notes to editors:
Formjet Plc is a UK-based company with a highly distinctive business model. It
acquires territorial rights to 'alternative' software products, and markets,
sells, distributes and supports these products in place of the vendor in
worldwide markets. The strategy has at its heart the proposition that we can
acquire product lines in territories of not less than a country without the
expense of either product development or the creation of IPR. The Formjet Group
currently has four product lines: Panda Software and Filestream are UK licences
and Ability and Software Dialog are
worldwide.
Formjet reaches a customer base of more than 400,000 direct customers and in
excess of 17,000 corporate clients. This market penetration has been achieved
through careful research into relevant territories and then applying the most
suitable routes to market, whether through distribution and/or reseller
partners, or via direct sales. Formjet acquired SouthCoast Distribution, a
specialist OEM provider to system builders in July 2005.
