AB, July 2, 2024 /CNW/ - The Honourable Dan
Vandal, Minister for PrairiesCan, will announce federal
support for communities transitioning from coal-fired electricity
generation to upgrade local infrastructure, attract new investment
and create jobs.
Joining Minister Vandal will be Honourable Randy Boissonnault,
Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Official
Languages of Canada; Mayor Allan
Gamble, Parkland County; and Dennis Paul, Technical Advisor to Paul First Nation Council.
Speakers will be available to answer questions from the media
following remarks.
