Every year the New York Association of Business Economics presents its prestigious William F. Butler Award to a distinguished economist in recognition of their lifetime contribution to the field of economics and economic policy. We are privileged and extremely proud to be presenting this year’s Award to U.S. Treasury Secretary, The Honorable Janet L. Yellen.

The award ceremony, speech by the honoree, and signature luncheon will take place on January 15, 2025 from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM at the Plaza Hotel, 768 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY 10019.

Established in 1972, The William F. Butler Award is presented annually to honor leadership in the field of business economics, and, to date, it has been presented to 45 outstanding economists.
