Saving into My Screens

Once you have added the criteria you desire and edited their constraints, you may wish to save the resulting screen for future reference. The purpose of Stock Screeners is to help you implement an investing strategy and build a portfolio out of the qualifying stocks. Therefore, it is important every now-so-often to revisit the screens you have created and discover what adjustments you need to make to your portfolio.

Most investment gurus revisit their screens on a monthly basis to find which companies ceased from meeting the criteria of a specific screen. They subsequently return to their portfolios to replace those stocks with others that now qualify for the particular screen. This is a continuous process. For this reason, the saving function becomes an indispensable part of any stock-screening tool.

Once you have created your screen, click on the 'Save as' button at the top of the core-page, and you will be directed to another page, where the saving function is performed. Here you can create a title for the particular screen and store it in your personalized library of My Screens.

Also, you might want to rename or delete an existing screen. In this case, you have to click on the 'Manage My Screens' button at the top of the core-page, and you will be directed to yet another page, where the editing function is performed. After you have finished editing your screens, click on the << GO BACK button to return to the core-page of the tool.
