Pep Boys-Manny, Moe & Jack (NYSE:PBY): The company reported higher than expected losses for its fourth quarter. Its fourth quarter loss stood at $14.5 million, up from $4.4 million in loss it had suffered for the corresponding quarter of the previous year. On per share basis, its loss has been reported at 27 cents per share.

The company also had to take $17.8 million in pension settlement charges while its asset impairment charges stood at $1.8 million. However, its revenue for the quarter stood at $530.8 million, up 5 percent. Pep Boys-Manny, Moe & Jack had earned $505.3 million in revenue for the fourth quarter of the previous year. The company also surpassed analysts’ expectations of $500.3 million in revenue. The company stock is currently trading at $10.92, down 2.93 percent from its previous close of $11.25. The stock had opened at $11.36 and has traded in the range of $10.92 and $11.48 in the current trading session. It has traded 292k shares as of now. Pep Boys-Manny, Moe & Jack commands market capitalization of $580.38 million and its Price Earnings ratio is 25.72. It is currently trading below its 20 days moving average price of $10.99 and 50 days moving average price of $11.08.

First Republic Bank (NYSE:FRC): The stock is trading 0.10 percent lower, at $38.18. The banking company reported its first quarter results and its net income for the quarter stood at $114.5 million, post payment of dividends on preferred shares. On per share basis, the company’s income stood at 85 cents per shares, up from 67 cents per share it had earned for the corresponding quarter of the previous year. First Republic Bank also doubled its non interest income to $72.3 million. The company surpassed analysts’ expectations of $365.1 million in revenue by posting $370.3 million in revenue. Its revenue for the corresponding quarter of the previous year stood at $313.9 million. First Republic Bank has traded 267k shares in the current trading sessions so far and its stock has traded in the range of $29.21 and $40.31 in the past 52 weeks. The company stock’s beta is 1.33, while its P/E ratio stands at 13.88. It had reported its latest Earnings per Share at $2.76. First Republic Bank stock has gained 17.56 percent in the past 52 weeks while its YTD gain stands at 17.1 percent.

The Charles Schwab Corporation (NYSE:SCHW): The broking firm reported its first quarter net income at $198 million, up 2 percent from its previous year quarter earnings. On per share basis, the company’s net income stood at 15 cents per share. However, the company’s revenue grew 8 percent to touch $1.29 billion figure. It was expected to report its revenue at $1.27 billion. Its stock is trading at $16.67, 0.30 percent higher than its previous close. It has traded in the range of $16.64 and $16.81 in the current trading session. It has traded 1.601 million shares so far, in comparison to its daily average trading volume of 10.006 million shares. The stock has traded in the range of $11.64 and $18.34 in the past 52 weeks. The company stock trades at Price Earnings ratio of 24.26 and its beta is at 1.69. Charles Schwab expects its full year earnings per share to be in the mid-70s. it also augmented is net assets by $43.4 billion in the first quarter.

BlackRock Inc. (NYSE:BLK): The stock is trading at $253.31, 0.22 percent lower than its previous close. It has traded in the range of $252.80 and $257.83 in the current trading session. BlackRock reported its net income for the first quarter at $632 million, up from $572 million it had earned in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. On the per share basis, the company earned $3.62 per share. Its assets under management also increased to $3.94 trillion as at the end of the quarter. BlackRock has traded 170k shares so far, in comparison to its daily average trading volume of 822k shares. The stock has traded in the range of $160.25 and $265.57 in the past 52 weeks. The company stock trades at Price Earnings ratio of 18.40 and its beta is at 1.44. BlackRock commands market capitalization of $43.45 billion. The stock is currently trading below its 20 days moving average price of $253.74 and 50 days moving average price of $254.6.
