UK official reserves recorded a drop in September
The Bank of England has reported that official reserves fell $321.00 million in the UK, in September. In the prior month, official reserves had climbed $656.00 million.
UK services PMI slid surprisingly in September
The services PMI registered an unexpected drop to 53.30 in September, in the UK, compared to a level of 55.60 in the prior month. Markets were anticipating the services PMI to advance to 56.00.
Eurozone investor confidence index fell in October
In October, the investor confidence index registered a drop to 11.70 in the Eurozone, lower than market expectations of a fall to 11.80. In the previous month, the investor confidence index had registered a reading of 13.60.
Eurozone retail sales remained flat in August
Eurostat has reported that, in August, on a monthly basis, the seasonally adjusted retail sales remained steady in the Eurozone, meeting market expectations. In the previous month, retail sales had climbed by a revised 0.60%.
Eurozone services PMI slid in September
In September, the final services PMI registered a drop to 53.70 in the Eurozone, compared to a level of 54.40 in the previous month. Markets were expecting services PMI to drop to a level of 54.00. The preliminary figures had indicated a drop to 54.00.
Eurozone composite PMI declined in September
The final composite PMI in the Eurozone dropped to 53.60 in September, compared to a reading of 54.30 in the prior month. The preliminary figures had recorded a drop to 53.90. Markets were anticipating composite PMI to fall to 53.90.
German services PMI recorded a drop in September
In September, the final services PMI registered a drop to 54.10 in Germany, lower than market expectations of a fall to a level of 54.30. Services PMI had recorded a reading of 54.90 in the prior month. The preliminary figures had indicated a drop to 54.30.
French services PMI climbed in September
The final services PMI climbed to 51.90 in France, in September, compared to market expectations of an advance to a level of 51.20. The preliminary figures had recorded a rise to 51.20. In the previous month, services PMI had registered a level of 50.60.
Italian services PMI records a drop in September
The services PMI dropped to 53.30 in September, in Italy, lower than market expectations of a fall to 54.10. In the previous month, the services PMI had registered a level of 54.60.
Spanish services PMI recorded a drop in September
In September, the services PMI eased to 55.10 in Spain, compared to market expectations of a fall to a level of 58.70. The services PMI had recorded a reading of 59.60 in the prior month.
US non-manufacturing PMI fell in September
The non-manufacturing PMI in the US registered a drop to 56.90 in September, compared to market expectations of a fall to a level of 57.50. In the previous month, the non-manufacturing PMI had registered a level of 59.00.
US composite PMI recorded a decline in September
The final composite PMI fell to a level of 55.00 in the US, in September. In the previous month, composite PMI had registered a level of 55.70. The preliminary figures had indicated a drop to 55.30.
US services PMI fell in September
The final services PMI eased to 55.10 in the US, in September, compared to market expectations of a drop to a level of 55.60. The preliminary figures had indicated a fall to 55.60. In the previous month, services PMI had registered a reading of 56.10.
Japanese corporate loans & discounts registered a rise in August
On an annual basis, corporate loans & discounts in Japan rose 3.07% in August. Corporate loans & discounts had risen 3.28% in the prior month.
