Euro-zone consumer price index advanced as expected in October
In October, the consumer price index (CPI) in the Euro-zone rose 0.10% on a monthly basis, compared to a rise of 0.20% in the previous month. Market expectation was for the CPI to advance 0.10%.
US NY Empire State manufacturing index advanced in November
The NY Empire State manufacturing index in the US climbed to -10.74 in November, compared to a reading of -11.36 in the prior month. Market expectation was for the NY Empire State manufacturing index to climb to -6.35.
Foreign investors became net buyers of Canadian securities in the previous month
Foreign investors were net buyers of C$3345.00 billion worth of Canadian securities in September, from being net buyers of a revised C$5782.00 billion worth of Canadian securities in the prior month.
Canadian existing home sales registered a rise in October
Existing home sales climbed 1.80% on a MoM basis in Canada, in October. In the previous month, existing home sales had recorded a drop of 2.10%.
Japanese housing loans rose in 3Q 2015
In Japan, housing loans advanced 2.40% on an annual basis, in 3Q 2015. Housing loans had registered a similar rise in the prior quarter.
Japanese Tokyo condominium sales declined in October
In October, on a YoY basis, Tokyo condominium sales in Japan fell 6.50%. In the previous month, Tokyo condominium sales had fallen 27.20%.
