Jamba Shareholders Upset Over Merger Bid and Seek Higher Price - (via NewsPoints Desk)

A group of Jamba Inc. shareholders are attempting
to block the $200 million purchase of the company by Focus Brands Inc.

The shareholders allege that the purchase price of $13 per share is insufficient in light of the company's growth prospects, and that deal-protection clauses in the merger agreement preclude other
companies from submitting successful competing offers. In addition, shareholders allege that senior management obtained personal benefits for their own self interests in agreeing to sell the company that are not being shared with common stockholders.

Jamba did not immediately respond to requests for a comment.

I actually go to this place sometimes when I see one. Nice to have some juice from time to time. Organic would be a nice step for them imho. They expect great things next year.. Still, worth much less from other views. Options volume is kinda iffy.. It looks like it will grow from here though. How fast is anyones guess. 11.20 seems like the stop out range this month.

You get a catalyst for it next monday afternoon at 5pm when earnings are released. Keep in mind, by the time earnings are released, if this stock hits $2.80 it will be a new 52 week high. Anything above $2.80 was in mid May 2010. New 52 week highs draw lots of attention.
