Market Cap Mea Culpa on my part..
Not sure what went wrong on that one..
At todays close, MC approx $343 Million... share price of $3.11.
Be really interested in seeing those 'analyst' reports to see what they are
using to justify a MC 3 - 5 times what it already is.
One of my biggest bitches about the markets for some time now is, there is so much
money flowing into the market that has to be put into anything they can 'find' (and claim
its a good buy), is that the principles/fundamentals have been negated when it comes
to valuing a stock. P/Es can't even be calculated and they are being given billion dollar
MCaps. I am seeing bio stocks still running their PH2, PH 3s with share prices $50/sh or higher,
nothing approved to sell.
Yeah, maybe the problem is me and my reluctance to get caught up in this twisting of
what was, that has turned this market into even more of a Ponzi scheme than it was.
PS: check out TNXP.. 6.3 Million shares, up for FDA approval on 15 Aug for a fibromyalgia
development, thats NEEDED, passed it clinical trials, and the existing developments (last one
approved was back in 2007 timeframe) don't work. Current market cap is under $150 Million..
I'm a thinking $50 sh ($315 Mil Market cap) will be justifiable IF approved (for starters)
disclaimer: do own shares of TNXP.. (they have cash to get into 2026, and they are
authorized to sell shares ATM which they have been doing (which has diluted the target price)
And trying to figure out how many batteries AMPX are going to have to sell to justify the current
market cap.. (and digesting the CEOs ltr to the shareholders)
Good luck..

Regard the 'time to build a position':
1. In the below link, page 17 & 23 discusses their 'markets'. Page 17 says
they are focused on the aviation industry, page 23 says they are NOT making
batteries for EVs and not likely to (for some time?) due to 'competition.
https://ir.amprius.com/sec-filings/all-sec-filings/content/0001899287-24-000088/0001899287-24-000088.pdf
So what is the potential revenue stream if they capture most of the aviation sector?
2. They have an active ATM which has sold $11 Million worth of shares to raise cash. Not expected
to be profitable 'for some time' (not surprised) and have authorization to sell up to another $89 Mil
worth of shares if needed to fund operations. Call its share holder dilution which in reality is
actually the reducing of the 'target price' if they can't justify a higher market cap based on sales.
That all said, been watching them for a while now, and due to their chart showing signs of trying to break out. May grab some shares. Not saying its 'justified' based on revenues, but 'PR' can be a powerful driver of the share price.
My conclusion is, if I took a position now, it would be to trade the breakout that looks like it has
the potential to happen. But sure would be nice to see them sign a contract to actually deliver
a large number of units to someone. (part of that, sure we can build it, but we need someone to
actually want it)
Something to justify a higher market cap than the $377 Million one they currently have...
Be interesting to see what this last qtrs 10 Q has to say
disclaimer: don't own any, but watching the chart cause its hinting at a breakout developing

Amprius Launches High-Performance SiCore Battery for Electric Mobility
January 27, 2025
https://www.powerelectronicsnews.com/amprius-launches-high-performance-sicore-battery-for-electric-mobility/
In an interview with Power Electronics News, Ionel Stefan, CTO of Amprius, highlighted various aspects of Ampriusโ SiCore battery technology. He noted that the cycle life at high rates is only slightly lower than at lower rates. This difference is primarily due to the increased cell body temperature at high rates. Active cooling can further mitigate these differences.
The slow pace of battery development is largely due to chemistry. Traditional lithium-ion batteries use graphite for the anode, but graphite has hit its energy storage limit. Silicon is emerging as a better alternative because it can hold up to ten times more lithium than graphite, allowing batteries to store much more energy. However, when silicon absorbs lithium, it expands significantly, which can cause it to crack and fail. Despite this challenge, silicon is the best option for increasing energy density in batteries, and using more of it could lead to more powerful and efficient lithium-ion batteries.
Teledyne FLIR, which supplies unmanned systems for defense and public safety, is among the first to explore the new cellโs potential. Tung Ng, Vice President of Unmanned Systems North America at Teledyne FLIR, said the battery could significantly improve the performance of drones and other aerial systems. โThis technology has the potential to extend mission durations and maintain critical performance under demanding conditions,โ he noted.

Amprius Technologies, Inc.'s (NYSE:AMPX) market cap surged US$55m last week, retail investors who have a lot riding on the company were rewarded
To get a sense of who is truly in control of Amprius Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:AMPX), it is important to understand the ownership structure of the business. We can see that retail investors own the lion's share in the company with 60% ownership. That is, the group stands to benefit the most if the stock rises (or lose the most if there is a downturn).
Clearly, retail investors benefitted the most after the company's market cap rose by US$55m last week.
What Does The Institutional Ownership Tell Us About Amprius Technologies?
Institutional investors commonly compare their own returns to the returns of a commonly followed index. So they generally do consider buying larger companies that are included in the relevant benchmark index.
We can see that Amprius Technologies does have institutional investors; and they hold a good portion of the company's stock. This implies the analysts working for those institutions have looked at the stock and they like it. But just like anyone else, they could be wrong. If multiple institutions change their view on a stock at the same time, you could see the share price drop fast. It's therefore worth looking at Amprius Technologies' earnings history below. Of course, the future is what really matters.

โจ Which Amprius Technologies, Inc. cells are the most popular and why?
Amprius, a developer of high-energy-density cells, uses advanced silicon anode technology in its batteries. With 14 cells across their SiCore and SiMaxx ranges, selecting the right one can be challenging but is critical for optimizing cost, performance, and sustainability in any battery program.
Here are 4 of the most popular Amprius cells in the SiCore range:
โข Amprius SA10: 300 Wh/kg & 1042 W/kg โ A 18650 cylindrical cell for easy upgrades from legacy technologies.
โข Amprius SA17: 300 Wh/kg & 1013 W/kg โ Another cylindrical cell, but is 21700.
โข Amprius SA08: 360 Wh/kg & 2028 W/kg โ The highest power pouch cell in their lineup.
โข Amprius SA03: 400 Wh/kg & 853 W/kg โ The highest energy pouch cell, ideal for applications demanding peak energy density.
While pouch cells deliver the highest metrics, their development often requires more investment in testing, system engineering, and pack safety design. On the other hand, cylindrical cells offer simpler integration for faster adoption.
