Yup, seems like a handful of giants are holding the market up and are showing resilience.

Meanwhile across sectors stocks are showing weakness, but those industries don't have any negative news in particular. They're sliding just for the hell of it.

Yeah I can see the incoming administration taking heat for what's happening this year. Though it's a good strategy to leave a mess for your replacement, because it can help the public remember you better. If recession occurs during a new admin, citizens will associate it with their staff. Rather than previous admin.

Revenue and significant news could turn the ship around. Though i don't expect much till 2026 and beyond. They're sending samples, but investors need to see multimillion dollar orders.

Ampx was bearish all year I expect taxloss sales these next few weeks.

If I were the company I would not release news until January.

Your comment about a lot of stocks being down, 'FEW' up is astute.

Someone wrote that for some time now, the bulk of the market has been quietly 'sliding' lower.

Covered up by the FEW big names with enough market cap to make the market look good.

The commenter said the last two times the market setup looked like this was in 2000 (when all hell broke loose
and the market tanked: I remember tech names valued at $400/sh that were nothing but an empty office and a sign
on the door, before that crash occurred. He said the other time was in early 2020 when things fell apart for approx
1 month before going on a serious rebound..

Disclaimer: hold positions in 3 that are just getting started, one being TNXP. And sitting on cash in case an 'opportunity'
arises. And I do expect the market to crash right after TRUMP takes over so that they can blame him for it despite some
saying we already in a recession. But just ignoring/hiding it.

A lot of stocks have been moving down or are stagnant. Tesla seems to be the only thing reliably moving upwards. Though considering its high entry compared to pennies or growth symbols, it's not on my buy list.

I'm still holding AMPX, because I think it'll reach double digits by 2027. If I close my position, will probably forget to monitor the sp long term. Then one day wakeup to see it at 10, years from now haha.

One caveat to be clear, they have a ways (TIME) to go...

and at this point, no idea what the 'justified' peak price could be IF
they are approved until sales, reimbursement prices, et al are announced.

My $3/sh is merely the result of what the market is likely to give it given their
development is a NEEDED product..

OK, I bought shares in TNXP. I looked up as much as I could what people are saying about TNXP and they have the stock as being a "moderate buy" rating and that's good enough for me. And by the way, thanks for the info.

For those looking for something, check out TNXP:

-developed a drug to treat the PAIN from fibromyalgia
-ran 3 PH 3 trials, the 2nd one failed, but they say is was
only because it was run during the covid mess, and some dropped out
-there has been no drugs approved for fibro since around 2010 or so and
they are codeine based (think addiction)
-this one isn't codeine based

Where they are at:
-they submitted their New Drug Application in Oct
-there is a 60 day window in which the fda acts to accept or reject (do more)
the submission, its closing down (and maybe why the share price is moving as
momentum/bio even traders like to 'chase' binary decisions like this)
-my 1st target price is 50 cents if the NDA is accepted for consideration
-my target price if approved is $3

Concerns:
-never invested in a drug that treats PAIN before, so relying on the company to
be honest w/regard to the clinical trials
-will the 3 trials run satisfy the fda and the results be acceptable
-large share count, expect a reverse split down the road. But being in early and
the possibility of capturing some gains first? Helps mitigate the r/split effect.

Disclaimer: I do own shares at 17.5 cents because I trust the outcome of the clinical trials
and the only reason I am concerned with the 'robustness' of the trial design itself? I had another
one ATNM that I have followed for years, traded shares in, pass their PH 3 with flying colors.
Only to have the fda tell them they want them to run a new trial that (despite the fda accepting the trial
they ran in the first place) does more. Did not see it coming and the only good thing was, due to the
delays in another one I had shares in CRMD, I hadn't rotated a lot of that money over into ATNM. Saved
me from getting killed. So while I like TNXP, own a bunch of shares, I don't have as many as I would like
to.
just thought I would toss it out. As always, take your own look, do your own DD first before investing..

I have already sold and waiting for another entry point here because the pps doesn't seem to have found it's floor yet.

Good question with the only right answer that we usually
can't give a good read on is, will it ever recover to where it just was
and then go higher. And because of my own lessons learned over the
years?

If I don't have confidence in what I think might happen, I usually hesitate
to take a position. And if I do take one (which is rare), my approach is to
take what it gives if a run takes place.

Part of my concern with how the market has changed since 2000 with the expansion
into online trading, the use of computer run ALGOs, things are happening too fast.
And too many moves in share price are the result not of fundamentals driving the share price,
but momentum based on hype, PR controlling things. And far too often, when one of
those moments develop, since its a 'false' run, ya just don't know when it will end, or how
far it will collapse the share price when it does. Until it has happened and is over.

Know someone who had recently bought ITRM at around $1.39 after its drug got approved. I told
him I didn't like it because of how 'limited' its market potential is due to the fda's labeling of
who and when it could be used. But then the share price started running up, he was happy
as he should be, but I recommended he be ready to take 'what it gave'. It peaked out
a couple of days ago around $2.90 and has collapsed hard over the last 2 days. I haven't
talked to him since this happened, so not sure if he 'took' the gains or if he is stil holding onto
the shares.
But in all honesty, while I expected it to peak out, and the momentum run it had was a nice one,
also had no clue as to how far it would then fall off.. So could only recommend taking what it
gave, and then see what happens next. Cause the fundamentals/outlook wasn't good enough
to justify a higher share price 'sticking'. And if it took off even higher, so be it. Just be happy
with the gains you did capture.

To close, its only in hindsight that we know how our decisions 'worked out'. But I am more inclined now
to take gains if I can't conservatively justify a higher share price going forward. Or I think something is
ahead of where it should be with the future 'cloudy/uncertain'.

I'm debating if I should exit temporarily, and trade something else in the meantime. Then go long again after it retracts.

Too bad I can't figure out how to post a screenshot of my chart. Its gotten
kind of ugly and in need of a 'save' to stop the trend.

My only problem is that when you do a Google search of companies that are creating fast charging batteries, Amprius isn't one that pops up. You are given a number of other battery makers that are on the cutting edge technology like Amprius, but Amprius isn't listed as one of the battery makers with fast charging technology. Is Google being partisan in their information when people go to search for something like this? I don't know. My reason for buying shares of Amprius is because I asked in my search result if Amprius was a buy and my search came back with a "Strong Buy" recommendation and the search info gave a reason why. I did my DD on Amprius, but my DD will have to go deeper to see other competition out there.

Yeah, time will tell. This is why I said that for right now, I see no reason not to invest in Amprius.

Question as a result of reading the link to the AMPX 'battery success' this morn is,
WHO is this other company that was mentioned in someones 'comment' indicating
what ampx is doing (charging time) is already being duplicated.

Wonder WHO he was referring to and where do they stand.

Whats tough about this battery world is, how fast things are changing and just when
you thought you were the leader, ya blinked and you no longer 'are'..

Makes one wonder if the 'booking' of manufacturing capacity was merely one of those
efforts to tell potential clients, if you want it, we are ready to make it for you NOW. So that
someone else doesn't steal their potential customer with something 'better'

Amprius seems to have things going for it better than Quantum and PLUG. As far as I know I'm here to stay.

I never owned either PLUG or FCEl way back when they first came to market. Was shocked that Quantum
ran up to over a $100 when I said they really have nothing going on other than an 'idea'. But then again, many
in this market run cause folks are chasing the 'PR'.

One of my investing 'mis-fortunes' is making investments based on 'what is's' and 'realistic can be's' vs
falling for 'hopium' when the idea has a lot of competition for the same revenue streams.

And I say "mis-fortunes' cause a lot of money was left on the table while I watched share prices make momentum
runs on pure PR, till 'reality' seeped in.. SAVA for example failed a PH 2, share price dropped on the news. But then
they figured out a way to say it was actually 'good' and the share price took off despite the 'how' they did it wasn't
explained (or justified). But it ran up to around $128. I told the ones that held and were giddy 'congrats', but to sell cause something
wasn't right. Share price dropped back below where it started and many rode it back down because the market was 'getting it wrong'.
They haven't done much since then other than oscillate in place..

Mercy...

I used to be invested in both of PLUG and QuantumScape and sold both positions because I felt they really weren't going anywhere; PLUG maybe a little different but I questioned both of my positions with those two.

Reading the comments further down, appears they aren't the only one with this
capability?? And unless I am mistaken, its still an A-Sample they have at the moment??
Anyone remember PLUG, FCEL to name a few way back when, Quantum more recently.
Lot of ideas, lot of competition for a sector that is in trouble cause if it wasn't being FORCED
on people as their only option?? It likely wouldn't have gotten any serious traction..
From a chart perspective, it looked like AMPX was about to roll over, but got a 'save' yesterday
and reclaimed its Moving Average line.. The last 6 days have been on heavier than ave volume,
with the 2 days being yesterday and 6 days ago. With 4 down days sandwiched in between. Thought
till yesterday that the shares were going to be on 'discount'.

That said, now have to figure out who these others are and where do they stand in getting into production.
Cause the competition is going to be interesting to watch to see who gains market share.

There’s other companies that have done 0-100% under 10 minutes. 0-75% in just 5… amprius is doing cool stuff no doubt though.

YES, the fact that the battery charges in just about 15 minutes is a breakthrough because MANY EV owners complain of the charging stations being full and the charging times being tremendous, about 8 to 10 hours charge time and this is waayy too long! Amrpius has the technology. Now to mass produce it.

The only thing is the CFO in the video didn't say what needed to be accomplished for mass production to take place; to elaborate on that would have been nice.

I'm still confident LT. The samples sent are the first step to getting in the door.

Maybe AMPX goes from sampling to $1-5M orders next year, then $10M+ following year. Looking for any sign of growth.

Thanks for the info. I bought shares a few weeks back, a little after the run up, and everyone's input is greatly appreciated. Learning more and more about the CEO and CFO and how things operate here. Now, just waiting to see what happens here like the rest of you. And yes, I think the momentum run is probably over and the stock price settling down.

AMPXs chart is hinting that the 'momentum' run may have ended.
Indicators I use are showing the momentum rolling over.
Wondering if this is going to follow the chart pattern of Quantum where
they hyped up what they were doing. Only to more 'quietly' let it be known
they were just an 'idea' that they hadn't been able to make work yet. Hell of
a chart pattern after that PR stunt.

Other thoughts:
watching the video, got an acquaintance in a financial wing of a
large company, in the upper management circle. They have WEEKLY
conference calls where 'whats' going on is discussed, 'whys' explained.
Same thing she said in the video, things are happening fast, can't afford
to fall behind. (unsaid is, don't want to upset the shareholders now do we)

So looking like AMPX still has some work to do, 1st being getting their A-SAMPLE
'accepted' by this battery group they are presenting to. Then there is the work of
taking that concept and packaging it to fit potential end user needs.

Maybe someone should ask her or the CEO to speak on the topic of how many have
told them here is what we need, can you package it this way. Or will it be a matter of,
here is how we have to package them, you need to fit them 'in'..

IE, they have manufacturing capacity ramping up, but for WHO/WHAT if they haven't
even had the battery accepted (or are they bypassing this organization to work directly
with end users)..

Some questions, and maybe an opportunity to get some shares 'cheaper' going forward??
See if the chart pattern fulfills what its hinting at.

After watching that video a second time, she seems to be a terrific CFO who wants to sprint and not take her time growing. In this business of producing a future battery that all other companies are also trying to produce, you can't take your time when the competition is also very fierce, YOU HAVE TO MOVE QUICK!! She's got the right frame of mind for the job; I like her!

I think with the way the chart is coming together for Amprius the pps will begin settling down and shortly this will move sideways with less dramatic swings. Just my take but we'll see.

Rough day! Though some of my positions randomly turned green in unison. Can't expect anything with this cursed market lol.

Yeah, it really sucks, huh? Lol. I'm sure that this will reach $3 soon enough but not exactly the timing we were looking for.

Markets gotten really screwed up when it comes to VALUATIONS for years now.

Thanks to propaganda, computers, ALGOS 'auto trading' for pennies/sh in gains??

Too many share prices are no longer valued on their financial fundamentals/real status in terms
of sale/revenues/earnings and whether or not someone even has something READY to sell.

Yep, all it takes is a BS/hyped up story line (aka, take QUANTUM and its run to over $100 purely
on the hype that they have a 'thought' for a battery, and the market priced it as if it was already selling)
and share prices are off and running.

Gotten dam difficult to actually find something of 'interest' and then once you decide you like it, to get a 'reasonable
entry price. And if you do? And it gets ahead of itself? You almost have to take it when it gives, especially when
you realize its being driven by hype/PR vs proven/confirmed info.

Take this one.. I was told about it by someone who is still convinced their battery design is going into production.
Told him again yesterday, its just a SAMPLE, yet to be accepted by the battery consortium as a 'proven' design..

But it made for a good 'run' in the share price. Now to see what happens next..

Good luck.. and my biggest concern is what happens to their 'projections' of if the EV market continues to collapse..

There are a number of issues with EV sells: The batteries catch fire way too easy; lack of charging stations; takes too long to charge the batteries, about 8 to 10 hours. This is just to name a few problems that I can recall. I want to invest in the EV market but right now it's not warranted because public demand for them is in the toilet due to all these problems that MUST be corrected. The current US Govt allocated a few billion dollars for more EV charging stations but look what they did with the money...just shows you what they thought of the "Green New Deal"; it's all fake!

Agree with you, AMPX is onto something with their development (and remember when Quantum got hyped to hell and gone
over their battery (share price shot up to over $100) only to realize it was a 'vision' vs an actual working design)

My question is related to the revenue side of things, not challenging the design/final product. Just a matter of
where will it be used and how many. EV sales for instance are regressing as folks 'see' thru the hype surrounding them
and realize that while they have 'use' (short distances), they come with 'baggage'.

Comes down to, how many EV batteries for instance could they sell, to WHO? After all, they are saying, they only have an
A-SAMPLE battery at this stage.. So they still have some work to do.. From Nov 4th..

I looked all around for a company making headway with a revolutionary battery and found Amprius and I like the future of this company. Their battery only taking up to 6 minutes to charge from 0-80% is so far extraordinary; their EV side a bit longer. I was looking at QuantumScape and their "forever battery" idea but they seem to be stuck in the mud so-to-speak, and so far not going anywhere with it AND they are heavy in debt without any revenue. Just my take on this issue. Amprius is just starting to pull together on the revenue side with at least a $20 million non-binding contract.

AMPX was/is focused on the LIGHT EV market, with actions to expand into 'other' what I will call 'niche' markets
such as EVTOLs. With the Trump election, the EV MANDATE ONLY BS that the democrats was pushing, that the auto
makers sold their souls for, appears to be 'in jeopardy' of being reversed. IE, if you WANT an EV, you can buy one, but we
won't be FORCED to buy one cause thats all the dem party was going to ALLOW us to have.

So my question is, with demand for EVs appearing to have peaked, with those that sold their souls to go 'heavy' on ev sales now pulling back, suffering big losses? Will AMPX be able to push their battery technology into the smaller markets such as power tools, electric bikes, lawnmowers, et al. And how long will it take them to carve out a footprint in that market. Cause it would seem with the potential decline in EV sales, there goes their biggest 'opportunity'??

Thoughts? Disclaimer: I was on the verge of buying shares cause the chart said its about to launch after a weekend of research. And then it did with that spike yesterday and it caught me before I started accumulating a position (I don't like to chase into 'spikes' like it did, prefer to let it pullback first, IF it does. And if it doesn't, see where the next set up develops at).
But I am not as enamored with it now that the EV market and the mandate BS is going thru a 'reset'.. But like the technology for its 'power' footprint, just not sure what kind of sales its going to have now. What its market will be.

Although its yet to be determined what those dem run states that declared EVS ONLY for their residents going forward are going to now do..

I still believe in spite of what this is doing today this is slowly moving higher. And I believe you are correct 3 by Friday if not maybe sooner.

Yeah, they were taking a little profit today so let's see what tomorrow brings...I bet it's a little higher tomorrow.

Close today isn't too bad, slight pullback from high. At least it didn't fall back to low 2's.

The really telling sign will be before the closing bell today. Let's see if they can keep the pps strong at closing?
