Sure, a lower cap rule would help but even the 2.5% proposal leaves the Companies short by about 30bil and as earnings compound and increase, so does the portfolio requiring 2.5% backing. That's why I believe it will take 3+ years short of diluting the shares to turn on the dividend spigot. I'm okay with dilution of shares, only if the proceeds go directly to the Companies. The idea of Government stealing more equity through dilution of shares via warrants just to plump up their slush funds should be a nonstarter. If it goes that way, I'll definitely vote for the Companies to file a new suit against the Government that also pursues past Takings that the SCOTUS has already ruled shareholders have no standing to pursuit because HERA law as written specifically refutes shareholders right to do so. Only the Companies can do so according to the SCOTUS. Of course, the Companies are currently run by their Government Conservator. that certainly won't file suit against itself. So I'm not banking on dividends unless I see the Senior preferred, and Warrants both written down. Then the Companies could raise their capital to meat the requirements in short order.

Fannie & Freddie bailed out the Government and in return, the Government grew even fatter with a bloated deep state hubris that proceeded to lock us all down in their plandemic, hold a banana republic election to remove the most prominate representative of the people since JFK, then thrust the cost of fighting dirty wars for their own NWO gain upon us all immediately after the first two psyops ended. that in itself shows how much hate and greed blinded the wisdom in realizing just how well and stable they have always been. makes me sick honestly. when u have a consistent winner, 100% of the time, why do you need a perpetually non profitable entity watching over u. Like a beauty school dropout on food stamps having oversight on a brain surgeon.

At least the bulk of profits will continue to go toward capital. The thing that was most amazing to me during the Net Worth Sweep was how Fannie & Freddie managed to be continuously profitable without much cash on hand to work with.
