I read through the 10Q and it sounds pretty grim. (Basically they have to give a big percentage of winnings to QP3 and lawyers and hope there is something left) In terms of organic growth I wonder if (1). The EDI patents are any good and ( 2). If they will try to license or just sell them to one company over another. I.e., sell the patents to Waymo and then they can screw with RoboTaxi or vice versa

The EDI patents are for driver assisted cars. They didn't buy the patent but if Quest could monetize them then the sellers get 50%. Probably more lucrative than Quest's other deals.
I tried reading the patents ... they are way over my head.

Maybe they can take one of their patents and try to make money with it, organically?

Quest made a couple of bucks and they will probably make a few more in their next 10Q from MultiModal settlements. No new patents and more importantly no new lawsuits in the courts. Just one active case.

Just one more recurring source of revenue like the one they just had would put the company at break even. It wouldn't take much at all to get this stock to go astronomical.

I once emailed the Company but got no response.

That was the initial announcement. The parties reached a tentative settlement, halting court deadlines and filings. My last post announced that the parties have officially signed an agreement and the case is closed. Several months of delays getting from point A to B.

Sadly and bizarrely there is only one active case at this time: HID vs Samsung.

Communication is an issue with this company. I guess it is right up there with the rest of the major issues. We will know in 3 months.

Right but does that mean they settled out of court. Settling out of court saves both parties further legal fees and the party that filed the suit formally agrees before the court to never pursue the matter again. I'm not a lawyer but that's my guess as to what happened.

If so, why it happened in this case and not others where the settlement was included in court docs is a mystery to me but filings did show that the two parties were attempting to resolve the matter out of court. Only Jon can provide the answer because I doubt Sonicwall would say anything on the matter.

In a document filed in April regarding Sonicwall asking for an extension of their deadline to respond, Taasera's counsel states that, "Taasera and Sonicwall are actively discussing resolution of this matter". So I guess it was resolved. Your guess is as good as mind as to whether that involved a monetary settlement.

It means that Taasera has dropped its claim against Sonicwall for whatever reason and "with prejudice" means that it won't file the same claim again in the future.

Planet Microcap has uploaded a bunch of videos from the Vegas event but still no Jon. I tweeted at them asking when it would be available but got no reply.
