Ummm That is Incorrect sir.
The buyback blackout period applies to the company's repurchase of its own shares, NOT to the transactions made by insiders. If an insider is purchasing shares, this activity is governed by different rules, such as insider trading regulations and the short-swing profit rule which is the method that was communicated. The buyback blackout period restricts the company's actions, NOT the actions of individual insiders. Details matter.

What is the short swing rule for insiders?
The short-swing profit rule is a federal statute that requires insiders to forfeit any trading profit earned from a combined purchase and sale that occurs within a six-month period.— Dr J (@Dr_Jamaloodeen) March 6, 2024

Additional Considerations
All shareholders witnessed the irregular trading patterns in 2022, specifically in the June time period and the periods surrounding the release of the hemp order PR. Those seemingly irregular dumps, I personally have never believed to be normal, and they may have attributed to the company conducting an internal audit of its share structure as reported in the attorney's letter in late 2022.
Something happened there. No one will ever convince me otherwise. That dump around the .018 level was not normal.
My hope is that if the company indeed moves forward with an additional audit of 2022, it will answer these questions as well as others I have surrounding the actual accounting of assets at the time of the acquisition. If I were the company, I would want to ensure there was no illegal activity, shorting or otherwise, before I initiated a buyback, but that’s me.
I would also put additional protections in place, as it is the company's fiduciary responsibility to prevent any such things from happening again and additionally protect the assets that are being added to the company. The company has repeatedly stated it will not allow its assets to be devalued.
Part of this could, in fact, be the buyback on which you are focusing. However, instead of using it to increase the share price, it could be used as a firewall in case the perpetrators who dumped before attempted to do it again, protecting shareholders and their assets alike.
So seems we both have our "theories"

I have surmised that the buyback may have began several weeks ago based on watching the trading recently, and because it was announced in March I believe, so it seems due. The number of shares offered on the bid and ask has been fairly large and relatively equal. and looks contrived. I'm guessing the buyback is being executed by a financial professional hired by TXTM.
I could be wrong. I would be extremely disappointed if I'm right because it would suggest to me a conflict of interest in they might simply taking advantage of what the CE has done to the stock price and maybe not be removing CE in earnest. Why don't they tell us?There's a hope and an assumption with a buy back that it might increase the share price.
From what I've seen from TXTM since the acquisition and the years it took them to finally acquire txtm, they're too cheap to do that. Hopefully I'm wrong and being unfair with my assumption. Maybe I'm overthinking.
When addressing shareholders the CEO and director should remember that some shareholders may not be as wealthy as the CEO and director think, and may need to sell shares to raise cash. As someone here did recently, so it seems.
That's a good idea to listen to the June 2022 CC video on YouTube though. There was quite a lot in it.
IMO.

Hmm, perhaps I did not make myself clear in my previous post ( more likely I did) but.. let me try again.
As to crypto conversation:
Not sure which message you're referring but context is important. I'd invite you to carefully listen to the 2022 Shareholder video where this was initially mentioned.
In fact, personnaly review it from time to time as we see developments coming from the company. Practially the entire business plan was laid out there. As well as the mentioning of Crypto.
As to the buyback:
To ask "if i'ts over" would imply knowlege of "if it has started". You apparently have surmised, or have been told it has started, so I would revisit your data or your souce to confirm, as both would require inside infomation which agsin should not be available to you, or be dissiminated by anyone else.
As to what has been publically stated is simply a definition of a rule which could be used to facilitate a buyback.
In this definition you will find the phrase "open-ended", which should answer part of your question. You will aslo see the word "Discretionary" which should also be self-explanatory.
A spot quiz :
What is an open ended / discretionary share Buy back program ?— Dr J (@Dr_Jamaloodeen) March 4, 2024

Ahh Mr. NorthTrail great to see you!!
Where should I begin, how about the "middle" this time, just for fun! I actually did see that article floating around, it actully caused me to spot my drink out laughing.
You see, nowhere in the article does it address or identify the specific strain of seeds, their strain purity, weather resistance, insect resistance, or any of the factors that would affect the price. Anyone can post a random article to trigger you, but it takes a little more effort and proper due diligence to accurately make an argument as to how it applies to us.
I've done the research in the market for my education. I did due diligence on the largest suppliers in the world, as well as distributors. If you did this for yourself, you would find that there are literally no mass producers/distributors of seeds that sell seeds with the characteristics ours have reportedly been stated as having.
Granted, there are distributors who carry the strain, but with one important distinction: they are hybrid strains, not 100% pure. The ones that indeed do carry our particular brand do not state additional characteristics that our seeds have. Even then, the ones I've found actually sell in excess of the quoted price range as stated in the filing.
All that being said, a bespoke strain, if the company chose to, could be evaluated by a special evaluator to properly place a value on the seeds. Evaluators assess various factors that influence seed value, including genetic purity, resistance traits, yield potential, market demand, quality assurance, production costs, and unique characteristics. With these factors in mind, I will happily share my due diligence to educate yourself, complete with pricing and a list of suppliers for your own knowledge, so you won't have to rely on "incomplete" random articles to be the foundation of your position.
As to the rest of your post i'll just choose to ignore as they seem to be based on hypotheticals involving insider information and former insiders, which is outside of my knowlege and should be outside of yours as well.
Have a great day!

Hey Mr Parabolic, has TXTM begun the share buyback yet? Looks like it. Looks like DrJ may have an agent buying and selling shares from/to himself with a bias towards buying, to VERY SLOWLY accumulate shares but keep the stock in its toilet-ring range of .0008 or so. Easy to do since he's the only person buying and selling at this point.
An incentive for TXTM NOT to do anything to remove the CE? Predictably, a "wrist slap" (as you called it) doesn't do anything. How many wasted months did that hypothetical excercise take?
Seems David Lewis made a deal with the devil with these 2. Or, should I say 3; don't mean to neglect you coming here for many months rubbing my nose in my stupidity at trusting these cheapskates.
Now we find out from an article posted on Twitter that the worth of the seeds 'given' to TXTM by DR J may be only a fraction of what everyone on social thought.
You have a good day too, Parabolic. When do you start loading cheapies of TXTM?

my problem is,why would you say/make things up,that don't exist?every single post, promise, fake cnn interview,2.3mill lb sales(lol)etc..Normal business people just simply don't talk in circles and def.don't play the carrot game. One has to ask,why and what happened?ce is not because of jse,or talk of 2.3lb sales. There's something else from the old days is my guess, and looks like dj didn't know/understand what's going on and got dupped in to something he didn't expect.Otherwise it looks just str8 lie.

Yeah so, I checked DuPlooy's Instagram pic in front of the JSE. That was about a Carbon Ventures Market launch. Nothing whatsoever to do w any speculative listing on the JSE, which was just an expression of false hope in the absence of any transparency for some of us regarding strategies, attempts, progress, setbacks in removing the CE. 🥸🚑🤪🐰☕
